This site is run entirely on a not-for-profit basis and is not connected in any way with the estate of Robert Aickman nor with the copyright holders of his works. The design and original content of the site are copyright Brian Lavelle 2004-2008.

There are two main aims for www.aickman.com:

(1) to present bibliographical material, display scans of the covers of Robert Aickman's books and provide as comprehensive as possible an index of stories, cross-referencing the tales to the various collections in which they appear;

(2) to publish occasional news items, articles and commentaries on Aickman's life and writings.

The books are listed in the order in which they were published, with material on the publisher, year and month of publication where known, the edition and the printing, format (cloth or paper), the original price (again, where known), the ISBN if appropriate, the cover artist or designer and any other relevant material. The books from which the cover scans are taken are my own copies - please do not use these images without permission. If you possess superior images of the covers of these books, please feel free to email me. Full credit will be given for any images displayed. If you would like to contribute an article or commentary, again please get in touch.

I am always interested in unusual Aickman items: signed or inscribed copies of his books, proofs, letters, typed or holograph manuscripts, original photographs etc, so please email me if you have anything like this.

All costs for hosting and upkeep of www.aickman.com are borne by me personally.
